1. Fidelity International’s Kate Howitt has been named the 11th best fund manager in the world on Citywire’s list of the top 30 female fund managers. This is the second year in a row Kate has appeared in the list and she was the only Australian to make the cut this year.

 

2. For those slowly getting back into the office, international athleisure wear brand Lululemon has launched an ‘On the Move’ collection of office-appropriate but comfortable clothing. The company has experienced a 157% year-over-year spike in online sales but their stock price hasn’t been reflecting positively of late.

 

3. The failed merger deal between LVMH and Tiffany has turned sour with both companies counter-suing each other. Tiffany filed the suit after LVMH pulled out of the merger and LVMH has appealed this saying the pandemic situation invalidated the takeover agreement.

 

4. Fortune.com analysed 75 large companies in the US to determine the best workplaces for women. Nine organizations in financial services and insurance earned a spot in the top 20 this year – which is triple the amount than on last year’s list.

 

5. Ursula Burns, the former CEO of Xerox, has turned her attention to increasing the diversity of corporate boards with the Board Diversity Action Alliance.
